DOC and PGI wines are improved compared to varietal and table wines, in particular for DOC white wines.

Piedmont, with its wine industry, shows a more limited decline than that of Veneto and Tuscan companies, but the best data are those recorded by the companies of Trentino Alto Adige, Emilia Romagna and Sicily.

Among the most significant negative data, the decline of 18% in Lombardy stands out, in addition to -16% in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Among the positive data are recorded Emilia Romagna and Sicily.
